Coach Chris has experience playing basketball at the high school and collegiate level. In high school, Chris became the all-time leading scorer and rebounder at Bethlehem Academy. He completed his record breaking high school career with 1,857 points and 918 rebounds and was named all-conference as a sophomore, junior & senior. During his senior year, Chris competed in the Minnesota State Tournament and was selected to the Minnesota Senior All-Star Weekend.
He went on to attend college at St. Mary's University in Winona, MN and made an immediate impact as a freshman, landing in the top 5 in scoring and rebounding for the MIAC conference. He earned an all-conference honorable mention his freshman campaign and was also named the West Region rookie of the year. As a sophomore, Coach Chris finished second in the MIAC in scoring (18.7ppg) and second in rebounding (10.5pg) which earned him all-conference honors that year. He went on to earn three MIAC player of the week honors on three separate occasions that season. Coach Chris owns the record for the most free-throws attempted and made in a single game, making 21 of 23 attempts.
Coach Chris is the Special Education Director at United Christian Academy.
